Richard Kass have been involved in the Flooring Industry for close to 40 years. He owned and operated a successful full service retail Floor Covering businesses (CPI Interiors) in the Vail Valley of Colorado from 1984 through 2003. Additionally he was owner of the Wood Floor Store (Vail Valley) and Intermountain Flooring & Supply in Eagle and Silverthorne Colorado.
Since 2003 Mr. Kass has been trained by numerous national organizations specializing in hardwood, carpet and tile inspections. Experience has been achieved through industry training, hands-on experience, multilevel installation experience, maintenance and corrective services during his 40-year career.
He is has been certified by The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) as a Residential and Commercial Wood Flooring Inspector. He was one of only 12 inspectors certified by NOFMA. He has achieved Senior Carpet Inspector status from the IICRC. Additionally he has achieved inspector status on Laminate and Luxury Vinyl Flooring.
